Sesame Street needed a overhaul of their pbs partner website for a full host of accessibility and design reasons. The new site experienced through a big, beautiful grid that’s easy for kids to grab, tap, and explore. Usability shinest with kid legible icons and color coded content. Custom widgets sprinkled throughout the content trigger special events and buried treasures, and bring out the unexpected humor of the sesame street brand.
The site’s structure is flexible allowing Sesame Workshop construct thematic backgrounds and widgets from scratch. In this way, the site can quickly change to reflect seasonal and featured programming of it's television counterpart.
